XML is more flexible than HTML in terms of ability to store information and data. In XML we can store data in both the attribute and as a content element that is placed among the opening tag and closing tag. Another advantage of XML is that the information held can be used interchangeably from one system to another system of different platforms. For example, from Windows to Unix, or from a PC to Machintosh even from the internet to mobile phones with WAP technology.
